機内から撮影

私は、２７歳の時、4月にストックホルムに行きました。
それ以来、６０年間に数えきれない程往復したことになります。東京‐ストックホルム間は、約８，２００ｋｍ、直通便で１４時間です。通常十時間前後乗って乗り換えして、計２０時間と少々かかります。今回は北京空港で乗り換えでした。
私は、気ままに通路を歩けるので通常通路側に座りますが、今回のストックホルム‐北京便では、何となく窓際の席に座って写真を写す気になりました。珍しく窓際に陣取ると、その良さを感じます。隣席の方がたの動きが邪魔にならない。乗客や機内サービスといった、通路の交通がない。ひじ掛けの手の置き場は案外気になるものですが、窓側は占有出来る等々です。
写真撮影にも独特のところがあります。写真撮影は、気候・天候に応じ、街・森・海と、探索し、被写体を探し、選ぶものです。しかし、機内の窓からでは、飛行機は富士山の３倍の高さを飛ぶので、朝・昼・夜にかかわらず常に快晴です。その代わり、小さな窓から観えるものだけということ。撮れた写真は、ホームページをどうぞ。

Shooting photos from a plane
My first air trip was to Stockholm when I was 27 years old. Since then, I made many times tour/retour trips in these 60 years. The distance between Tokyo ー Stockholm is ca 8,200km. It takes 14 hours by direct route. The common usual way, one changing stop after 10 hours flight. So, it would be 20 or some more hours. This time I changed at Beijing airport.
My usual favourite seat is an aisle side, since I can walk freely when I want. However, I took a window side this time to take some pictures. Taking the window side seat was rather nice and comfortable. I was not disturbed by the moves of my neighbour passengers. No passenger traffic, no service traffic. I could occupy the window armrest. The armrest is actually a common matter between neighbours.
Concerning photo’ing itself, there are some unique matters. The actual photo’ing is to seek the subject in the town, forest and sea, after the weather. However, the plane flies 3 times higher than Mt. Fuji therefore the weather is always fine, in the morning, in the middle of the day or night time.
