パラリンピック
オリンピックが終わり、パラリンピックが盛んに行われている。私は、パラリンピックの放送番組を観たくない。楽しくないからだ。健常者に比べ欠けたところのある人々を選抜してスポーツを競わせる。我々の大部分は健常者であり、彼らの日常生活は、彼らの人生は、ハンディキャップに満ちている。不可避な競技上の公正を目的と称し、煩雑・精緻なルールを、我々が人工的に作り、彼らの間で互いに戦わす、私には、こういう競技・ゲームを観客として楽しむことは出来ない。画像には、驚き・感嘆はあっても、美しくない。勝者も敗者も出て欲しくない。
しかしながら、競技と勝敗は不可分である。だから、およそ勝敗と関係の無さそうな競技でも、審査員、採点によって勝敗をつける。１０ｍの高さから水中に飛び込む、高飛び込みでも、美しく、音楽に合わせて氷上を滑るフィギュアースケートでも勝ち負けを付ける。スポーツに熱中し、実は観戦に熱中する我々が、どうしても勝敗にこだわり、興奮、楽しみを求めるのは、歴史上の事実である。現代社会でも同様である。無数のワールドカップ大会は大繁栄し、大儲けできる産業となっている。パラリンピックはそぐわない。
次のオリンピックは、３年後である。パラリンピックは催されるのだろうか？今回のパラリンピックの経済的収支が左右するのかな。誰の収支かな。

The Paralympic Games
The Olympic Games are over. Now the Paralympic Games are on. I would not look at TV programs of the Paralympic Games. Since they are not enjoyable. For me, to let people with some handicap compete sports each other is not my taste. The most of us are capable to manage daily life. For the para athletes, their daily activities, their lives are full of hindrances. To avoid the inevitable unfairness for handicapped people playing games, there are complicated and detailed rules. Then, under these artificial circumstances, let para athletes fight each other. I cannot enjoy such games. I find in the TV monitor astonishments and admirations but not beauty. I appreciate not to see the winner or the loser.
However, a game inevitably leads to its outcome. Therefore, some of the games must have the judges giving points to each play. There are first, second and third price for the performances of the high diving and the figure ice-skating.
We are enthusiastic for the sports. In reality, we are enthusiastic for looking sports games and we want to see the winner. Our history shows evidences. In our modern society, the situation is same. Many “World Cups” are good highly profitable businesses. The Paralympic Games should not be in the such sorts of businesses.
The next Olympic Games are in 2024, in three years. Shall the Paralympic Games be with them? Shall it be depend on the income / expenditure sheet of this Paralympic 2020? Whose economy sheet?
