Noisy world
To think is a dialogue in one’s mind, a form of construction with words, a sort of diary. However, no one can hear but oneself. If we speak out, it sounds differently from the thinking voice. If our thinking voices were audible then it would be terribly noisy in the street and in the subway cars.
To think with audible voice or talking only in one’s own mind is quite similar but not quite the same. Some people read a book murmuring but rather seldom. By the way, there are quite numbers of countries where people study reading with voice and try to memorize word by word. Probably this study manner has remained from their academic culture, the time when the oral tests were the major examinations.
The computerization of our world is terrific. In so many fields, AI is better than we are. The computers do memorize everything instantly. They can select, categorize and do the statistic analyzation immediately. Even our simple PC and smartphone can make a list of all the related pictures, when you point out a figure from thousands of families or friends’ pictures. Farther more, so many of us are depending on SNS. There are SNS addicts sending out arbitral idea capriciously to unspecified strangers. “Think”, “worry” and “ponder” those words have disappeared from our society. “I wanted so I did”, this is the motivation of many crimes today.
The vast amount of arbitral sending and the thousands times of immediate reactions. Twitters and followers. Our atmosphere is full of data thoughts. The streets, the subway cars, there are full of noisy useless data voices. The big computers memorize them, select and categorize them, and suggest, lead and force our life.
World of tomorrow.
