Major or minor
Nowadays, a day passes by me terribly quickly. A life consists of daily life. We all have 24 hours a day. Nobody has more or less hours. In a day, we must spend ca. 20 hours for those necessary inevitable activities such as sleeping, eating, working or learning, washing and cleaning body. We have only 4 hours left for us. We often consume this 4 hours for occasional interests and banal conversations.
We should not waste our precious time. As to distinguish wasting or not wasting, we can apply the key word; “where and what our interests are”. There is an effective method. Since we meet many subjects every minutes in our life, we can classify them into the major ones and the minor ones. First, we take care and solve the major ones. How can we identify which one is major and which one is minor? Most of the subjects frequently appearing on TV are minors.
By the way,”UK / EU; out / remain?”, “USA; Clinton / Trump?” are these major or minor? We could judge them, through to keep distance from them, look them as a part of the world problem. We can try “hindsight method”: let us simulate that we stand in future and see how our world has become. UK / EU and Clinton / Trump questions are minors. The consequences would be mild, without any dramatic reformation. The results of elections of other nations are just the same, minors. We have major problems today. Global warming, military forces, nuclear bombs, nuclear power stations and global and domestic social gaps. The global warming affects all of us even if caused by wrong manners of consumption by the well-off classes. However, the process, the cause and the results of the widenings of the social gaps i.e. gaps of the quality of life, is simple. It cannot be so difficult to stop this process.
