みんなの常識、世界の非常識
国旗はもともと領有の宣言、侵犯者に対する警告、戦場では同士討ちの回避といった、物騒な目的であった。しかし、動物のマーキングが、それ自体は危険な行動ではないのと同様に、国旗は武器ではない。現代では、国際会議の参加国を示すべく掲揚され、スポーツ世界選手権では各国選手団の先頭を進む。
国旗は、国家・国体のシンボルと考えられ、国旗の取り扱い、掲揚の仕方を法律で定めている国は意外に多い。損傷すれば罰せられる。国内の重要な建物や公園・広場に誇りを持って掲げられる。掲げる日時、セレモニーの様式まで決められている国もある。　
この国旗が、近隣諸国では全く異なった観点・連想でとらえられている例がある。日章旗を好戦国・侵略のシンボルと感じる諸国民、同様に、星条旗やユニオンジャックを侵略・武力のシンボルとみなす国々も多い。これは、フランス・ロシア・中国・オランダについても同様だ。　そして、当の、自国・国民自身は、一向に自覚していない。
我々が全く当然、常識と思っている事は、実は身の回りの極く限られた身内での話しなのだ。　これに気付き、身近で、簡単なことだから、修正すればよいと思うかもしれないが、干からびた自尊心が堅く、分厚く被さっているので、お箸とナイフ・フォークのようには、簡単に軌道修正ができない。
そういう例は、世界には山ほどある。　宗教・神様にまつわる事柄は全てそういうとことだ。　日本では、世の中が、宗教を軽視する、健全な方向に進んでいるので、実害は少ない。　しかし、男女差別・国家・国民・異民族・移民・外人等の諸問題では、日本人も、一口で片付ければ、世界を知らない無知な集団であり、好奇心のない閉じこもり症である。　これが、歴史の流れの一部であるなら、そのうちに自動修正されることと、安心して待っていれば良い。　ところが、こういう逆行的偏向が、権力による操作と、それに迎合するメディアによる、日常・繰り返しの誤情報の意識的注入となると、これは、洗脳であり、今日、世界が抱えている問題、残酷な悲劇を更に推し進める、反人類的ということだ。

Common or absurd
The national flag was originally not meant for the peaceful purpose but to declare the national domain, to warn intruders and at the battlefield to avoid internecine strife. But just as the marking by animals is not dangerous, the national flag is not any weapon either. Today the flags are hoisted to show the participants at international congresses and at international sports games flags lead national teams.
The national flag is considered the symbol of the nation. Many nations have the specified rules of how to handle, where and when their flag should be hoisted. You may not spoil or mishandle the national flag.
There are examples these beloved and respected flags are considered differently by another nations. Some people associate the Japanese rising sun flag with militancy. The Stars and Stripes, the Union Jack, and many other flags such as French, Russian and Chinese flags could be in the same category. Naturally the people of these nations would never come to such idea.
Many phenomena which we believe natural and common are valid often only within our own very limited sphere. There are a lot of such cases. The most of things concerning to the religions and the gods belong to such cases. In Japanese society people put little value to the gods or religions. We are tolerant and have less trouble with them. But Japanese also are ignorant, shortsighted and conservative when it concerns to sexism, racism and local nationalism. If it were a part of the course of history, we may wait and see. We can expect the natural amendment and correction by the course of history. But if it were results of the manipulations through the false information being sent everyday form the mass media steered by the nations and governments, the situation should be named as the result of the brain washing. Today our world is full of problems and tragedies caused by absurd misunderstandings.
