Now it is spring in Tokyo. I sleep so well till birds$B!G(B chirps awake me. It is about sleeping posture. $B!H(BTutankhamun, Buddha and Leopard.$B!I(B It might not be so easy to guess what I refer but with some wild fantasy you could imagine the three sleeping postures. With $B!H(BTutankhamun$B!I(B I refer to sleep facing the ceiling, very proper but stiff. With $B!H(BBuddha$B!I(B I refer to sleep facing the wall and with $B!H(BLeopard$B!I(B I refer to posture to sleep as a leopard on a tree. I have made up this naming; no academic person would support me. I snore much and I have found $B!H(BTutankhamen$B!I(B worsen my snoring.
You talk about your body weight 60 kg, 80 kg and so on. But the parts of your body, each of them, have their own weight. When you are awake the weight goes vertically down to the center of the globe via bones and feet. When you sleep each weight of each part of your body lies on the bed. The physical relations between the organs, muscles and bones or joints are very different from the time when you are awake.
We hear rather often the aged persons got fatal pneumonia caused by things went down to tracheas. Foods and saliva go down to tracheas instead going to gullet. When we are young our throat has good functioning mechanism which leads right things to the right directions. For aged persons, coughing in the bed could be caused by the same reason i.e. saliva mislead to tracheas. When I feel coughing I take the posture of $B!H(BBuddha$B!I(B or $B!H(BLeopard$B!I(B. Then, I realize the cough disappears.
Lumbago and cramps might also be caused by the $B!H(BTutankhamun$B!I(B, the still and stiff posture.$B!!(BI change the sleeping posture time to time, imaging the effect of new posture and fall in sleep, hoping this simple act could help to keep my health better.
